In-person cooking classes are available in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a travel fee for cities outside of the East Bay.

 

Kitchen Confidence Classes

  • Knife Skills Basics

    1.5 - 2 hours

    Learn to slice, dice, julienne, chiffonade, and mince like a pro!

    Individualized feedback helps you learn to cut safely and efficiently, making time in the kitchen more enjoyable!

    Virtual offering also available.

  • Knife Skills + Soup & Salad

    2.5 - 3 hours

    Learn the proper way to handle a chef knife, then use your cut produce to practice some foundational culinary techniques.

    Together we’ll gain confidence in balancing flavors as we craft a satisfying soup and salad using a variety of seasonal produce!

  • Grain Bowls

    3 - 3.5 hours

    My signature offering combines knife skills and the building blocks for plant-based cooking.

    Learn a mix-and match-formula for meal prepping flavorful and nourishing grain bowls using a variety of seasonal vegetables and plant-based protein.

Celebration Classes

  • Plant-Based Tacos

    Let’s have a taco fiesta! Try your hand at making tortillas from scratch and we’ll fill them with a variety of colorful and seasonal ingredients!

    This class will include:
    - Make an easy and delicious plant-based taco filling
    - Cook homemade corn tortillas on the stove
    - Enjoy freshly made guacamole

  • Galette Extravaganza

    Learn the basics of making pie dough and fill it with delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables!

    This class will include:
    - Make a basic pie dough (dairy-free and gluten-free available)
    - Work with seasonal produce to make delicious fillings
    - Learn to roll dough and shape galettes

  • Veggie Sushi

    Learn to make sushi rice, capture unique flavors and textures using plant-based ingredients, and roll your own sushi!

    This class will include:
    - Cook an easy stovetop appetizer
    - Learn to roll sushi using a bamboo sushi mat
    - Make plant-based fillings like tofu “crab” and eggplant “unagi”
